I am a Ph.D. student candidate with research interests in High Performance Networking for Data Intensive Grid Computing. Currently I am working on resource optimization strategies for effectively harnessing WDM based optical networks in LambdaGrids. Work involves modeling, simulation and analysis of user traffic, designing and assessing impact of admission control mechanisms, exploiting various traffic engineering mechanisms, evaluating next generation transport protocols on high bandwidth delay product networks, and also other interesting emerging aspects of Grid Computing. I call it - SuperNetworking the MetaComputer! Click here for a list of recent publications.
