Computer Engineering Program of Studies Forms
The new program of studies forms in Microsoft Excel Format. To download the forms, right click on the link and select 'save as'. If you cannot open these forms, see below.
Instructions for Completing Program of Studies Form
To complete the program of studies form, double-click on the form you just downloaded. It should open automatically. If not, see below. When opening the form, a message may be displayed stating that macros are not enabled. You should ignore this message. Then, fill in the fields where called for by clicking on the empty field and typing. When entering your transfer credits, remember to use 'SCU' or 'Santa Clara University' exactly as they appear here for the institution name if you are transfering credit form Santa Clara. Do not leave any fields blank, and be sure to check each box ONCE if taking the marked course. If the form does not open correctly, ensure that you downloaded the correct version of the form for the software you are using.
If the form does not open when you click on it, you do not have software capable of opening Excel files installed on your computer. Please purchase a copy of the latest version of Microsoft Office, or download one of the free versions of the Office suite below.
The OpenOffice suite is a free set of tools that includes word, presentation, and spreadsheet editors. To install it, just download the installer, found here, run the download once it finishes, and follow the onscreen instructions. WARNING: The installer is large (150 MB), and may take some time to download.
If you have a gmail account, you can use the free GoogleDocs tools to save and edit the form. Go to your GoogleDocs homepage, sign in, and click the 'Upload' button in the upper left hand corner. Select the form from where you saved it on your computer, and click upload. Then just click on the form, and it will open in your browser, with all changes stored on your GoogleDocs page.
